EDUCATION: Born on May 30th 1972, he started playing double bass and studying jazz in 1992, after having played electric bass for a while (instrument that he definetly left soon). He graduated at the "Civici corsi di jazz" in Milan with Giorgio Azzolini as his teacher, and later he also took a graduation in Economics, and continued to study bass with Rosario Bonaccorso. In 1995 he attended an international workshop leaded by the great Ray Brown.
